Biography‎
I Manage and responsible for over 350 medium to high net worth personal and business clients in a wide range of industries. Supervise support accountants who provide assistance in interacting with and preparing essential tax documents for clients. Review and prepare tax forms 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120 and 990 using Lacerte tax prep software. Engage in 12 consultations on average on a daily basis answering questions and discussing tax strategies with clients. Perform bookkeeping using Quickbooks and provide payroll, sales tax and estimated tax filling services for clients. Prepare and analyze the P&L and Balance Sheet for my clients to make sure that they conform to GAAP. Utilized and applied ASC 740 (FAS 109) concepts for clients that were C-Corporations. Prepared form 1040 tax returns for medium to high net worth individuals using ProSystem Tax. This often included preparing Schedules A, B, C, D, E (Rental Property and K-1s) and H. Also, Excel was used to do 1099-B reconciliations and tax payment reconciliations. Prepared 1120-S, 1120 and 1065 tax returns for small to midsize companies using ProSystem Tax and Engagement.
After preparing tax returns, advised the managers on ways in which we could reduce the clients’ current and future tax liability. Performed bookkeeping for clients using Quickbooks desktop and online version. Made general journal entries into Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics) and QuickBooks. Analyze and enter invoices into Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics) and QuickBooks. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Aid in the month end closing of the financial statements. Enter and manipulated payroll data in Microsoft Excel via functions and formulas. Prepare data for the external auditors’ audit selections.
